Exhibition-sale of Mushegh and Zulum Grigoryan Artworks
UN Armenia Office and Armenia Tree Project (ATP) cordially invite you to attend an exhibition-sale of the artisits -father and son Zulum and Mushegh Grigoryans' artwork.
Mushegh Grigoryan is the current feature artist of ATP's Nature's HeARTbeat program, which is devoted to uncovering local artists whose creations are inspired by nature. The primary focus of Mushegh and Zulum Grigoryans’ paintings is, of course, the environment, expressed through landscapes and still life.
Come meet the artists behind these beautiful paintings which have captured our minds and our hearts. We look forward to seeing you and enjoying the Grigoryans’ sceneries together!
The event will take place in the UN House Lobby - 14 Petros Adamyan street. Official opening on March 18, 3 p.m.
Armenia Tree Project is not only about planting, reforestation and environmental education, but also about appreciation towards nature and humans. Throughout the year ATP showcases various local artists’ works – sharing their art and ATP's appreciation with you! A part of the proceeds from the sale will be donated to Armenia Tree Project.
The exhibition is dedicated to the International Day of Forests, a United Nations observance, which is held annually on 21 March.
The theme for this year “Forests and Climate Change” highlights forest-based solutions to address climate change mitigation and adaptation, and more broadly forests and sustainable development.
Focusing on newly adopted Sustainable Development Goals the specific targets of Goal 13 and 15 do directly touch issues of climate change, its impacts, ensuring the conservation of mountain ecosystems, including their biodiversity.
