Sci-Fi Club

Saturday, May 14, we are starting a new club for those of you who love science-fiction, discussions on themes as simulated reality, identity crisis or futuristic dystopian worlds, and popcorn!
Here is what ICLT sci-fi club will be like.
1. Small groups of people sharing interest in sci fi literature and cinematography will meet at ICLT on Tuesday / Thursday (9 pm) and Saturday (6 pm) for two weeks.
2. There will be a 60 - 90 minute pre-watching session, where we will discuss the movie from its cinamatographic, thematic and conceptual perspectives.
3. We will then be watching the movie all together in English (with subtitles, unless otherwise requested) and enjoy popcorn. You can bring your own drinks and snacks as well!
4. Once you go home, there will be follow-up emails that would call for further reflection, analysis and review writing on these movies.
We will soon share the list of movies that we have chosen, but feel free to recommend your favorites and we might include some of them as well.
The course costs 7500 AMD, or 3500 AMD for all those who are or have ever been ICLT students. The revenue from the course fees are to cover teacher and administrative expences only. We do this for our own fun as well :)
