2016 Yerevan Regional Conference
Armenia will be holding its first-ever pro-liberty Regional Conference on Saturday the 17th of September, just in time for the 25th Independence Day anniversary.
This event aims to attract both Armenian and International guests who are interested in discussing free-market solutions to problems created by the lasting legacy of Bolshevism in Armenia, and other post-socialist states.
Our main theme will focus on the role of spontaneous order in addressing the failures of planned economies, and structured societies through technological advancement, social organization, and much more.
The day-long conference will be in the form of lectures on libertarian topics, as well as panel discussions and open forums. Activities will be concluded with a reception which we hope you can all attend.
Topics discussed will include:
- Can Fair trade coexist with free trade?
- Capitalist peace theory: Was Bastiat right about cross-border trade?
- The Role of tech-startups in leapfrogging development
- unplanned urbanism
- Classical liberalism against authoritarianism
Though there will be no registration fees, small contributions or donations are welcome.
Armenians have earned for Liberty for centuries, come find out how to make it happen.
