This month, we're visiting the Far East (we're sticking with our outdated terminology on this one) with picks from Korean cinema.
This first flick comes straight from the Golden Age of Korean cinema and is considered one of the best Korean films of all time. The Housemaid all starts out innocently enough. Family hires maid. Maid cleans and takes care of house. Man of the house has affair with maid while wife is pregnant. Everyone’s hidden crazy comes out. The end.
The screening is free and open to the public. The film will be shown in its original language with English subtitles. Must be 16 or over to watch.
