This is an attemp to present Hamlet in a contemporary sanguenoues human image of a man of great passions and strength, who has been a destiny’s child, an all time winner, indulged by friends, women and parents and suddenly and unwillingly is forced to observe and comprehend the irreversibility of the time and life, to reassess his role in his own and others’ lives and his attitudes to the time and duty and is finally feeling himself as one of the victims of the irreversibility, one of the actors of his own “mouse trap”. Hamlet is presented in a sort of pentagram of faces and emotional states: passion and self-confidence of a strong man, sudden grief and pain of loss, philosophic acceptance and recognition of irreversibility, helpless child’s hope for parental justice and support, and quite acceptance of the warrior-observer’s role who is to fulfill his duty.
