THE SCreENERY: ART + Vampire + Farewelling
This will be the last event of 2015, unless someone else wants to do something, of course. We hope you join us at The Bakunts House.
About one hour before the film A Girl Walks Home Alone At Night AGWHAN (2014) an exhibition of work will be had.
The art is two times the fun, with one being an installation attached to the house aka THE WALL (to some) plus some music.
Anahita a student of the music conservatory of Armenia will play several pieces on piano and accordian while people mosey the rooms of the house.
Bring Your Own Drinks and snackies for a merry time before the movie that is from Iran and completely out of season for ghoulie times (or is it), but Leslie and Anahita really want to see it finally, so we're showing it! AGWHAN is hailed as the "first Iranian Vampire Western" and set in "the Iranian ghost town Bad City," which for many is reason enough to watch it! heh!
duration - 1hr 40 min
Language - Farsi with English subtitles
So, this night is just a hodgepodge of fun and we hope you come and help us wish Anahita all the best before she heads off to Eastern Europe to give some workshops (to show some people HOW IT'S DONE).
Popcorn will be provided!
whoo!
