“Restorative Yoga” Special Class with Christina Hovhannisyan at Shoonch

This workshop is based on centering breath and body, restoring and balances the body and mind by practicing stillness or gentle movement for extended periods of time. The entire practice is spent reclined using several props to assist in all poses. The purpose of Restorative Yoga is to relax and calm the body which leads the yogi toward a more healing and recuperative experience. Practice includes Pranayama and Meditation focused on the breath and different breathing techniques. Restorative Yoga helps:
