34 տարեկանում Սթիվ Գլիսոնի մոտ ամիոտրոֆիկ կողմնային սկլերոզ հայտաբերվեց: Ըստ բժիշկների՝ Ազգային Ֆուտբոլի Լիգայի նախկին պաշտպանը և Նյու Օռլեանի հերոսն ապրելու էր երկուսից հինգ տարի: Եվ Սթիվը հենց այդ էլ մտադիր էր անել՝ հանուն իր նորածին որդու, կնոջ և նույն հիվանդությամբ տառապող մյուս մարդկանց:

At the age of 34, Steve Gleason was diagnosed with ALS. Doctors gave the former NFL defensive back and New Orleans hero two to five years to live. So that is what Steve chose to do – LIVE: with purpose, for his newborn son, for his wife, and to help others with his disease.
The screening is free, with admission on a first-come, first-served basis. It is part of the U.S. Embassy’s American Film Showcase “Mosaic of Human Stories,” a two-month-long celebration of American film and the cinematic arts.
