What’s February, marked as it is with celebrations of love, without romantic films? Get you fill of love at TUMO with Film Friday screenings at both our Yerevan and Stepanakert centers.
Join us at either TUMO Yerevan or Stepanakert this Friday as we kick off a new month of Film Fridays with Jim Jarmusch’s Only Lovers Left Alive. The film follows two lovers who have been married for literally centuries—they’re vampires. Adam is a rock musician living in his Detroit studio, making music on vintage sound recording equipment he’s gathered through the ages. He’s become despondent and depressed, bored with modern life. Feeling this, his wife, Eve, a friend of Shakespeare and Christopher Marlowe, returns from Tangier to be with him.
Don’t miss a vampire film unlike any you’ve ever seen, screening this Friday at 7:30 pm.
The film will be shown in the original English language, with Russian subtitles.
Screenings are free and open to viewers age 16 and over.
