The speaker is the Head of Business Development of E-Residency, Estonia. The country transformed into one of the most digital countries in the world over the past 20 years and is known to be benchmark in terms of e-governance and public e-services.

Joel Burke has years of experience in Silicon Valley ranging from venture capital to mentoring at MIT LaunchX, Startup Weekend, and various accelerators and incubators. He also worked with StartX, the accelerator for Stanford founders.
Currently, Joel Burke leads the Business Development team at the E-Residency program for the government of Estonia.
