Death in Rome live in Yerevan

On February 28 Zhesht Events will host a Neofolk evening with Death in Rome. The event will take place in the basement of the State Philharmonic Theater with Herr Lounge Corps and Uhushuhu as support acts.

Death in Rome is a cult neo-folk and dark-wave ensemble that transforms familiar songs into stark, cinematic hymns. Known for its refined minimalism, martial undertones and unmistakable visual language, the project blends elegance with underground edge. Death in Rome has become a quiet phenomenon in the Gothic and Neofolk world: limited editions sell out immediately, international shows draw dedicated audiences, and each release carries the aura of a rare artefact. The band stands for atmosphere, discipline and a distinct artistic signature - turning pop culture into something haunting, elevated and unforgettable.

Herr Lounge Corps is Slovak pianist Miro Snejdr, who first came to wide attention in 2009 for his masterful interpretations of numerous Death In June classics, which lead to his collaborative work on Death In June’s 2010 studio album “Peaceful Snow” and subsequent inclusion in the band’s touring line-up through 2015.

Marfa Shining In Braille is a musician based on planet Earth, solar system galaxy. Inspired by gnostic texts, Thunder Perfect Mind in particular.
