Armenia Model European Union Conference 2013
AEGEE-Yerevan, taking into account the highly successful experience of the Armenian Model European Union Conferences 2011 & 2012, as well as huge public and youth interest towards the project, has the honor to announce the launch of the new interactive youth project “Armenia Model European Union Conference 2013” (hereinafter AMEU 2013), which will take place in the middle of October, 2013.
AMEU 2013 is going to be 2-day simulation of one of the European Union institutes and will bring together more than 100 students from Armenia and all over the world. The AMEU 2013 is perfect opportunity for all students, young activists, volunteers and other interested individuals to get acquainted to the activities and the structure of the European Union in detail. The selection of the participants will be made by 2 level selection. The shortlisted candidates will be invited to take an interview.
During the three week training course, the selected participants of the AMEU will have a unique opportunity to learn about the activities of the EU, study the policies of the European integration and enlargement, the development and the history of the political parties represented at the European Parliament. Participants will also learn European law and Politics. AEGEE-Yerevan envisages organizing special courses with the mentors and will facilitate the preparation with all selected participants.
The topic of the Conference will be Eastern Partnership Program, mainly Armenia-EU relations and upcoming Vilnius Summit. The main purpose and idea of the Conference is the simulation of the EU's decision-making processes and he activities of the European Parliament.
