“Internet of Everything” forum in celebration of the international "Girls in ICT" day
The American University of Armenia (AUA) College of Science & Engineering in collaboration with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) is organizing a public forum for April 28th. The forum, “Internet of Everything”, is aimed to encourage young women to choose a career in the emerging field of information and communication technologies (ICT).
ITU is the United Nations specialized agency for information and communication technologies – ICTs. They allocate global radio spectrum and satellite orbits, develop the technical standards that ensure networks and technologies seamlessly interconnect, and strive to improve access to ICTs to underserved communities worldwide.
The public forum at AUA is part of the international celebration of ‘Girls in ICT Day 2016’, based at the ITU Headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland.
