PKN VOL. 23: The Space Case
On Monday, April 10, Tumo Center for Creative Technologies sets the stage for PechaKucha Yerevan Vol. 23, organized in partnership with the EU-Eastern Partnership Culture and Creativity Programme (www.culturepartnership.eu) and Kolba Lab. Local and international architects, urban planners and entrepreneurs will come together under the topic “The Space Case” and the trademarked 20 slides x 20 seconds format.
We will explore the concepts of space vs place, public vs private, challenges of housing, what big data means for architects, transformation of soviet modernism in Sevan, disobedient dream of Fabrika Tbilisi, urban psychology of post-war Beirut, and design of independent cultural centers in Europe. Most presentations will be in English.
