Gyumri-Kars Urban Heritage Common Notepad Book Presentation

Սիրով հրավիրում ենք ձեզ մասնակցելու Գյումրի-Կարս քաղաքային ժառանգությանը նվիրված գրքի շնորհանդեսին։
Դարեր շարունակ ապրելով «նույն հարկի տակ», Գյումրի (Կումայրի) և Կարս (10-րդ դ․Բագրատունյաց թագավորության մայրաքաղաքը) քաղաքները ներկայումս հարևաններ են. մեկը՝ Հայաստանում, մյուսը՝ Թուրքիայում։ Թեև երկուսն էլ տարբեր պատմական հանգամանքների և բախտորոշումների են արժանացել, սակայն իրենց քաղաքային կառուցվածքի ու ճարտարապետության մեջ, միևնույն է, նմանություններն ակնհայտ են։ «Ուրբան» կայուն զարգացման հիմնադրամի ջանքերով, ինչպես նաև ուրբանլաբ սոցիալ-մշակութային հիմնադրամի (Հայաստան) և Ինտեգրման միջազգային ինստիտուտի (Թուրքիա) աջակցությամբ հայ և թուրք մասնագետներից կազմվեց թիմ, որն այցելեց երկու քաղաքներ, ունեցավ բազում քննարկումներ, հիշարժան զբոսանքներ, լուսանկարներ ու նշումներ։ Մասնագետները, վերադառնալով տուն, հանձնեցին իրենց մտքերը, վերլուծություններն ու առաջարկությունները թղթին։ Ի վերջո այդ անգնահատելի տեղեկատվական պաշարը վերածվեց մի ամբողջական գրքի, որի բովանդակության գլխավոր «մեղավորներն են» «Ուրբան» կայուն զարգացման հիմնադրամը և ուրբանլաբ սոցիալ-մշակութային հիմնադրամը։ Գիրքը մշակվել է Եվրոպական միության աջակցությամբ`«Աջակցություն Հայաստան-Թուրքիա Կարգավորման Գործընթացին» նախաձեռնության շրջանակներում:

We are delighted to invite you to attend the presentation of the publication named “Common Notepad” dedicated to the Gyumri-Kars urban heritage.
Living together for centuries, Gyumri (Kumayri) and Kars (which used to be the capital of Bagratid Kingdom of Armenia in the 10th century), are now neighboring cities – one in Armenia, the other in Turkey. Even though both of them have gone through different historical circumstances and fortunes, however they managed to shape their urban pattern and architecture with many similarities. Thanks to the Urban Foundation for Sustainable Development in partnership with urbanlab Socio-Cultural Foundation (Armenia) and the International Inclusion Institute (Turkey) the project team and the participants from Turkey and Armenia visited both cities, had discussions and memorable strolls within and outside the cities, took photos and notes, went back to their home cities, and after a while, put their thoughts, analyses and recommendations on paper. So today the “luggage” of this priceless information has grown to an all-in-one publication the content of which is the sole responsibility of Urban Foundation for Sustainable Development and urbanlab Socio-Cultural Foundation. The publication has been produced with the assistance of the European Union within the framework of the Support to the Armenia-Turkey Normalisation Process.
