The most famous work of St. Grigor Narekatsi is the prayer book “Book of mournful chants”, which has become one of the most important theological works in the world. It is believed that the book has wonderful and healing abilities; therefore, many stories about amazing changes in human life are associated with it. The play is based on the poem “Book of Sorrowful Chants”.
