Վիրավոր երաժիշտը պատերազմից վերադառնում է իր դատարկ տուն, ուր իր միակ ընկերը դաշնամուրն է և նոտաները : Պատերազմում կորցնելով ձեռքը նա այլևս չի կարողանում նվագել առաջվա նման , դրան զուգորդվում է միայնությունը և նա դառնում է բռնակալ իրեն շրջապատող միակ երևույթների ` նոտաների նկատմամբ , որոնք խորհրդանշում են հասարակությունը և սկսում են ըմբոստանալ նրա դեմ.

After a musician returns from war, he's left with an empty house and only his piano notes as companions. Unfortunately, he lost a hand in the war, making it impossible to play the piano like he used to. Loneliness takes over, and he starts acting like a dictator to his only companions, the piano notes, which represent society. This leads to the piano notes rebelling against him.
