Perspective.Momentum.Absurdity / Contemporary Dance
THIS PIECE HAS NO MEANING, ONLY THE NARRATIVE YOU CREATE
Based on these three words: Perspective, Momentum, Absurdity a performance has been curated, its sole intention to entertain.
Momentum drives a pace. Perspective creates a point of view. Absurdity can be seen.
But what is absurdity's what we regard 'absurd" universal or personal? Is our
view on absurdity influenced by our culture, our perspective on life and all things that make us human?
My version of absurdity is just like its definition 'the quality of being stupid!
Of course, perspective is as individual as you and me, some think of it as point of view and that a share in perspective is what drives unity, others believe it's "the art of representing a three- dimensional objects on a two-dimensional surface so as to give the right impression of their height, width, depth and position in relation to each other"
And momentum? With similar values on absurdity and perspective comes momentum; it's what drives us to change our environment and our world. Or some would say it's "the quantity of motion of a moving body, measured as a product of its mass and velocity
As I said at the beginning,
This piece has no meaning, only the narrative you create.
