Jazz Lab #10 — Իմպրովիզացիա և կոմպոզիցիա

Այս անգամ Jazz Lab-ում կխոսենք այն մասին, թե ինչ կապ կա իմպրովիզացիայի և կոմպոզիցիայի միջև։
Հաճախ թվում է, թե կոմպոզիցիան «գրավոր» և երկար մտածված է, իսկ իմպրովիզը՝ պարզապես ինքնաբուխ, միայն պահի մեջ արվող բան։ Բայց շատ դեպքերում նոր ստեղծագործությունները հենց իմպրովիզացիայից են ծնվում․ փոքրիկ սոլոյի գաղափար, հաջողված մոտիվ, հետաքրքիր ռիթմ — և ժամանակի ընթացքում դրանք դառնում են ամբողջական երաժշտական ստեղծագործություն։

Jazz Lab-ում կքննարկենք՝
• ինչպես է իմպրովիզացիան աշխատում որպես ստեղծագործական տեխնիկա,

Jazz Lab #10 — Improvisation & Composition

This time at Jazz Lab we’ll talk about the relationship between improvisation and composition.
It often seems like composition is something “written” and carefully thought out, while improvisation is just spontaneous, happening only in the moment. But in many cases, new pieces are born exactly from improvisation: a small solo idea, a successful motif, an interesting rhythm — and over time these become a complete musical composition.

At Jazz Lab we’ll discuss:
• how improvisation works as a creative technique,
• how musicians turn the best moments of their solos into new themes,
• and why it’s important for a composer to be an improviser, and for an improviser to think like a composer.

There will be live musical examples, small “experiments” on stage, Q&A, and, as always, a warm and open atmosphere where you can not only listen, but also understand what is happening inside the music.
