Amid the smoke clouds of a forest fire, an unusual spiritual bond forms between a California forest ranger and a London painter. One bears witness with his own eyes to devastating natural disasters; the other transforms the ranger’s accounts into impressionistic paintings. The film itself—airy and ephemeral just as the title suggests—was shot over long periods of observation between 2018 and 2025, evolving into a remote lyrical dialogue.
The film will be screened in original language with Armenian and English subtitles.

Անտառային հրդեհի ծխերի մեջ ծնվում է տարօրինակ հոգևոր մտերմությունը կալիֆորնիական անտառապահի և լոնդոնյան գեղանկարչի միջև։ Մեկն իր աչքերով վկայում է ավերիչ բնական աղետները, մյուսը՝ նրա պատմածները վերածում իմպրեսիոնիստական նկարների։ Ինքը՝ ծխի պես եթերային այս ֆիլմը, որը նկարահանվել է 2018-2025 թվականներին երկար դիտարկումներից հետո, վերածվում է հեռահար լիրիկական երկխոսության։
Ֆիլմը կցուցադրվի օրիգինալ լեզվով և հայերեն ու անգլերեն երթագրերով:

The Month of European Cinema returns starting December 5 at the House of Cinema Grand Hall, bringing you the most talked-about films of 2025, originating from different corners of Europe and awarded at the most prestigious film festivals!

In Armenia, this international project is implemented by the Kazm NGO with the support of the French Embassy in Armenia, the Embassy of Austria in Georgia and the Danish Cultural Institute.
